The week that was... We began our character creation Research and Development by identifying things that make us care about a character in the story. Students workshopped their characters in different focus groups and had the opportunity to write a scene that included their character. We also finished our Historic figure of Canada to help us continue to build on our Canadian Identity concept. The look ahead... We will continue to build our narrative writing skills by building our understanding of what makes a good story. We are also looking ahead to our immigration project which will be introduced in 1 week. Science The week that was... We wrapped up our study of electricity and magnetism and moving forward into our study of Chemistry. This week, we learned about different types of mixtures and the 3 phases of matter.
